Training Hikes — The Perfect Warm‑Up
To help everyone hit the hills with confidence, a series of optional training hikes is planned in the lead‑up to the main event. These sessions are designed to be friendly, accessible and a great way to build fitness while spending time with colleagues.
Here’s the proposed line‑up for 2026:
- Saturday 14th February: Brandon Hill Summit Walk, Kilkenny
- Sunday 8th March: Comeragh Mountains or Mt. Leinster
- Saturday 4th April: Wicklow Mountains – Lugnaquilla
They’re relaxed, mid level challenging and ideal for testing your equipment, finding your pace and getting into the challenge mindset.
