Avonmore packs a protein punch

 New Avonmore High Protein Soups hit the shelves

This is an exciting milestone for Avonmore Soup as we introduce a new range of High Protein Soups to the brand.

The Avonmore High Protein Soup range will consist of three flavours – Chunky Chicken & Veg, Chicken Masala and Red Lentil Dahl, all of which were developed by our NPD Manager, Barry Foley.

The range varies from 16g-18g of protein per pot while also being gluten free, low fat, low sugar and a source of fibre. Not to mention and most importantly, they are fulfilling and packed with flavour.

The objective of this range is to entice a new era of soup consumers into the Avonmore brand by introducing something relevant to them, that tastes great.

Avonmore High Protein Soup will be the first protein soup on the market ranged in all major retailers. The new range will be available across Tesco, Dunnes and Supervalu from mid-September.

The launch will be supported by point of sale at fixture, OOH in proximity to stores, influencer and social media marketing as well as sampling at various locations including UCD and through the Work Perk targeting workplaces.

The journey to developing this product started with an idea last November, which progressed into market research with the support of the insights team and then into development by R&D before marketing and commercial teams presented to customers. Thank you to everyone involved in bringing this product to the market.
