In recent weeks, our Ingredients team have been connecting with customers while promoting our products and ingredients across the globe.
With 1,519 exhibitors and over 125,515 visitors, Food Ingredients China (FIC) is the largest and most authoritative international show in the food additives and ingredients industry in Asia. The three-day event offered conferences and technical seminars with the latest news on food science and technology and was a very successful show for Tirlán. Having a stand at the show provided the team with a great opportunity to meet a lot of customers over the course of the three days and also to build a pipeline of new leads. China will be an important value-add market for Tirlán Ingredients into the future.
The Tirlán team attended a meeting with Bord Bia and discussed their plans to continue to support Ireland’s dairy exports for the coming year. The team also had the opportunity to meet with Ireland’s Consul General in China, Wendy Dorman-Smith and Alan Ralph, Deputy Consul General at Ireland’s consulate in Shanghai.
Hanoi celebrates St Patrick’s Day

Truly Grass Fed at Natural Products Expo 2024
The Truly Grass Fed Consumer and Ingredients teams travelled stateside to Anaheim in March where they took part in Natural Products Expo West – the world’s biggest exhibition of natural and organic products.
Held annually at the Anaheim Convention Centre, California, the event showcases the latest in natural products across the food, beverage, nutrition and beauty industries. Over four days, retailers, distributors, buyers and manufacturers attended the show, making it a great opportunity for Tirlán Ingredients and Consumer teams to meet with existing customers while also prospecting new business and distribution.
At the show this year, from a B2B point of view, we mainly promoted our grass-fed proteins along with our gluten free oat offering. The event gave the team an opportunity to meet existing customers while also looking at the latest trends within North America and beyond. For our oats category in particular, we have seen some great opportunities in the breakfast category along with on-the go snacking and beverages.
The TGF Consumer team met with key customers at the show and connected with consumers. We sampled our Truly Grass Fed Butter and also introduced new innovation items including Maker’s Blend Cheddar and Truly Gluten free Oat Milk. A dedicated Barista at the booth crafed Irish Oat Milk Lattes which were received with enthusiasm.
“We received fantastic feedback from attendees about the pure flavour and natural ingredients of our grass-fed products as well as our new gluten free oat milk range,” Jaclyn Crabbe told Overherd. “The show gives us an opportunity to pulse check the competitive set and the Sales team left with strong customer reactions and leads to enable growth.”
