Tirlán on stage at Gulfood
Gulfood 2024 was a huge success for both the Ingredients and Consumer teams
Kicking off the tradeshow calendar in 2024, Tirlán recently had a stand at Gulfood representing both Ingredients and Consumer. Taking place in Dubai, Gulfood continues to be the gold standard event for the global F&B community, with a record 5,500+ exhibitors and visitors from over 190 countries, and with a footprint spanning 24 halls.
Gulfood is a key event on the Ingredients calendar, with the local MEA team maximising the opportunity to gather market intelligence, while also acting as a main hub where the team can meet multiple customers in one place. The show was a huge success for the team where there was a hive of customer meetings throughout the whole week.
The Avonmore Professional team continues to explore opportunities and drive growth in the dynamic Middle East region. The team showcased the expanding Food Service portfolio, meeting with new and existing customers throughout the week.
The latest innovation, Avonmore Professional Cream Cheese, was officially presented at the show and there was good interest from customers, with packaging and product taste well received.
Jim Bergin also visited the show and spent some time with the local team. It was an excellent opportunity for the team to meet Jim and update him on market opportunities with their respective regions. As the region is quiet diverse, it was an interesting session for Jim to learn and understand the various market dynamics the team face on a daily basis.
Ann Meaney took to the Speaker’s Lounge to take part in a case study session followed by a panel Q&A. The topic for Tirlán was “Implementing sustainable practices in farming – Improving food sustainability through new way of innovation and developments”. During this session, Ann covered some of the innovative initiatives Tirlán are executing as part of our sustainability journey including The Sustainability Action Payment, Operation Biodiversity and the Sustainable Farming Academy.
Overall, the week was a huge success for both Ingredients and Consumer. We’re all looking forward to various upcoming shows in the coming months.
